Uhhh..... they're probably in personal collections and not going anywhere soon. You think the fact that many haven't surface on the secondary & auction market as a bad thing???

They were stunning in the flesh. Paul at Elms Lesters told me that Adam laid out the pieces of paper and sprayed them in continuous movement (which is pretty evident since they aren't 'drippy' at all)

Heard these were the first to sell out - maybe it was because the entry point was cheaper or maybe because they are a nice progression and similar to his roots of his street-placed work.

That being said - sure 1-2 may pop up in the next year but I think people are enjoying these.

Paul told me the same story, I think those were one of the best pieces of his show, the amount of the stronged the image (I mean: because there were that much next to each other it was even more prettier).
they sold for 25K GBP I think? correct me if I'm wrong!!

yeah I prefer mine too hlarmy, but I gotta sell to study. I've always liked these kind of things by adam. He made (2004 I think) a serie of drawings with pencil, absolutly loved them, unfortunatly never seen them again..

although i like these paintings i reckon there pretty expensive for what they are. i got a similar style doodle in my adam and ron show book for free.

Silky and Slammer I agree with both of you! I think these are absolutely stunning and would love one on our wall, where it would stay for a long long time! However £8k for what amounts to a doodle (or under 1 minute of labour), as Slammer says, seems a touch opportunistic! They did sell out fast though, so there's the justification for the pricing right there and if his pricing stays on it's current trajectory, I'm sure those buyers will be even more chuffed in 10/20 years' time!!! I think Slammer, that those of you priviledged enough to get doodles should really feel quite honoured and here is the evidence of that! To have spent his evening doing that shows what type of guy he is imo!

haha... i see the same chat me and my mate have..... so many people think they are great and then many people say they are not!

Paul was telling me how hard these are for Adam to do... and he doesnt want to do anymore... as just to produce 20 of them, takes 40 goes.... and rips all the other up.

I mean... every stroke of the can is perfection.... any slight wrong spray and the image is torn up... so i reckon these are pretty iconic for their time as he develops into a true artist for many years to come.

I cant afford the big pieces now... £30K+ is pushing past my gasp.... but i thought someone on here would have one to share.... or even to sell?

I think you have to see them in person to like them.... mainly with all adams stuff... but as simple as these are.. are masterful in their own right... £8K i think is a bargain.

I like them and can appreciate the style and precision....somewhat akin to good calligraphy by the sounds of it.....the beauty coming from the continuous flow and energy of the spray.

I can see it would take many attempts to produce a few and altho 8K seems somewhat hefty I doubt many could do the same and maintain in essence what is the artist, Neate.
