She has been completely honest about the print and description as I remember her discussing it when she bought it.
The print has been trimmed short across the top and has some fading where the shop lights have hit it.
You can not reverse the damamge but it might be worth asking her for some better pictures of where the fading is so you can make a decision.
You can certainly trust her. I am sure its genuine (subject ot the usual checks etc..) but please consider that it has been trimmed short by the shop.

"Trimmed"........ why would any framer/shop worth their salt trim a print surely thats like cutting someones hand off !!!
I read it in a way that it had been cropped meaning the mount in the frame cropped the bottom/top of the print (hence the fading). Not that the print had been cut down in size.
I dont think i could bid on it cos I would always know ive been sold a trimmed and light damaged print so to speak.
At least the seller hasnt covered it up and just tried to sell it on framed up, which seems fair play......

It's worth more than a poster but nowhere near what a mint copy would go for.

As I said it would always niggle with me if I got it. What i think is worse than it been trimmed (if we are reading the ad right, im still not sure) is the fading of the image............ the white will be a "mucky white" and who knows the colour difference of the image.
As said above its not as if any damage can be rectified by a restorer.

If it was mint am i right in saying ยฃ2k ish ........ in this prints state surely it is a print not worth the paper its printed on.

I was perhaps gonna bid but not at the price it is now, i will have to wait for a decent one to come up and pay the right price, if one comes up.
I see the sellers got a "flags" as well (also damaged / creased) what sort of price are they 500-600mark. ?

always annoying to get a print with the top cut off, but it does happen. doesnt hugely affect the image, but would bug the buyer for sure. without a doubt. at the end of the day though, this is one of the most loved banksy prints, and always will be, unless he does another girlfriend friendly print some time soon...! if you love the print, and dont have between 7-10k for a signed, or 3-5 for an unsigned, i reckon this is a good bargain..
and if you think cutting the top off a banksy is bad, i know of someone who back in the day stuck one up on their fridge using sellotape back in the day. easily easily done when its just a cheap print you bought for ยฃ50!!!!
