Price check - Faile made him a monster, by recycle on Jul 26, 2010 19:40:43 GMT 1, Just came accross this online and i am pretty suprised as i was told that my one was a 1/1 but it turns out it must be from a run of three. (I bought mine float mounted framed so can't check the reverse)
Saying that it could have been a 1/1 as it is Faile were talking about, they could have done mine then decided to do a small run afterwards or a couple of extras?
Anyway forgetting the gallery price what do people think the value of this is? I'm kind of struggling here as it's not an OG nor is it a large print run, so very difficult to guage a price on it.

I did receive a PM from one person saying that Faile prices are based on how many colours involved, but i do think this particular peice really works.
Espresso beans is only showing two sales and they are from back in 2007 and neither of them are from this hand finished run.
Would people price a handfinished Faile print somewhere in between a standard print and an OG???
I suppose on this account it would be a case of the actual value is what i would sell it for against what someone would pay for it and if the too were close then that's it's worth.

I think £4.5k is a gallery price. I would guess on ebay £2k-£2.5k on a very good day. As much as I love Faile there prices just aren't there any more.

ambrosiabaptism: I agree with you about Faile prices dropping a bit but so have most other artists and i'd say Banksy has been hit harder as the pricing of Banksy is a bit more flexible due to the cost/value.
spaceshrew: I'd personally say that 1.5k is a very low estimate, that is my opion though, i do know that if someone offered me that i would turn it down straight away.
All this does show how opinions do vary on this board though as we have had valuations from 1.5 to 4.5k

Thanks to everyone who commented on this, i now have a rough idea of what it's worth.
Motor: Sorry for not answering you earlier, i didn't see your post as we must have been posting at the same time. With what i was told it would make more sense this one being an A/P rather than from the run of three and the source of this print is very reliable (I'd rather keep the source private if you don't mind)
Well it looks like it won't pay for a Banksy original at the moment so it can happily stay on the wall ;D

As i run an onlne business i use the term 'we' a lot and i am sure lots of other people do. Also look at the context in which the "we's" were written and you will see that the term 'we' is completley valid.
At the end of the day the point is that it does not matter what my grammer is like, especially to someone like you who has no reason to be posting on my thread.
