So he thought the other canvas would be perfect! He was running around till the early hours doing it in order to get it on the plane in time for 8am...which he made by a whisker! EINE took the call and had the one day deadline! Now that's commitment!
Being realistic im sure anyone of us could have made that canvas in 24hrs, given the stencils were probably already cut

spray paint dries in seconds, especially if you get a hair dryer on it

This isnt the first time a street/urban(i hate the use of that word) artist has given art to Obama. Obama built his whole election campaign on Fairey's posters and ultimately received the original from him.
