Ever found a Adam Neate?, by TAXED on Aug 28, 2008 17:34:38 GMT 1, Anyone got some cool stories of going out on a mission to find a Adam Neate painting left in the street, and been lucky enough to swipe one?
Also do he still leave paintings around or does he just concentrate more on gallery peices now?

Ever found a Adam Neate?, by ROLLINS on Aug 29, 2008 12:26:25 GMT 1, My girlfriend made me stop the car once round the back of Stolenspace and jumped out. She picked up two bits of cardboard with pictures on. When we got home, she put them on top of the radiator and they just sat there. Two weeks later she put them under the setee. Two months later we discovered they may be Adam Neates.
She did email Adam, but he wouldn't say if they were real or not. they look like his work, but are not on his website.
They're still under the setee

Ever found a Adam Neate?, by princeofdalston on Aug 29, 2008 12:50:36 GMT 1, Man I've gone on hunts through the cold wind and rain, I'm constantly on the lookout, esp on the bus going through shoreditch/old street area When I first learnt of Mr Neate's gift/treasure my life was governed by cardboard!
But since then, like getting a signed Banksy at cost, I've kinda given up hope. Spends most of his time in Brazil? Thought there might have been some bits about for Cans 2 but saw nout.
It would be cool if he did a kinda treasure map or something - I'm not it for the money I just love his street pieces, to me their simple brilliance are better than most of the gallery pieces

Is that your tattoo? i always wanted a tattoo but scared of the pain!, i knew a girl once with "Love and Hat" tattoed on her fingers as she lost the "E" finger somehow!, i suggested she have a letter "G" tattoed on her thumb so they would read Glove and Hat but she didnt like that idea much.She was a plumber!.

You need to trust the artist 100% for a back piece, they could do anything and you wouldn't know until it was finished

LMFAO! It is indeed my tattoo and yes craigf, it took a LOT of faith in the artist to have it done! Be cool to see some new stuff; how/if it changed at all.
His latest graf pieces seem to be strictly b/w - amazing how he can create such images with only 2 colours, wonder if his street pieces are explosions of colour right now..?
