Shame his people were demanding money to use a couple of shots in my tiny little magazine... They would have looked great in print.

dude, im sorry cause i'm sure your magazine was nothing evil but i completely understand why jr ask to be paid from press for his pictures, you gotta play it cool with the press, they always do what they want with your images, they always write what they want and you can never control it to be sure they're gonna say right things.
and you wouldnt want your images on some crappy article right?
i think that once you rich that level of media exposure you have to take some precautions.
you can always do exceptions (ie for small magazines like yours) but how to judge what's small and what's not when maybe you have to go to kenya to work pasting a huge train?
hope it did not piss you off, cause jr and his people are all nice blokes and good hearts

Does anyone know apart from Laz's one, the other 4 and the edition of 80 if there are any other runs of the Laj Ly image?

I was just a bit gutted because im an independent magazine that has still never made a penny in the form of profit. When I replied letting them know I was a small A5 mag from London and that I could try to pay the "rates", they never replied to my emails.
Its all cool though... Mr Romanywg took some snaps of the stuff he did in London in September I think and he very kindly has let me use them in the next issue and they look amazing!
