Having been away from this forum for over a decade, I am offering my MP poster for sale. Until now stored and forgotten about until I saw how much these now sell for. Needs must. I have the original "smarties" tube (aka hell tube) with the original label. Mine is straight from the gift shop, in incredible condition, only taken out once and one of the rare few that was not brutalised by people who packaged them, so is the leaflet/guide and so are the mint postcards. The three together make a great set / display and IMO help with authenticity. I'll happily include a usb stick or SD card with photos I took the day I was there. What else can I say, if that's not enough authenticity... have a go at Ebay fakes and good luck. I haven't got the till receipt but frankly... who does? DM me reasonable offers if interested, I'm in no rush to make a quick sale, I'll meet in person in London. If you feel disappointed or offended by my sale price, I'm very sorry, I just need the money. Photos available for serious buyers only, it'll only confirm my accurate description. Although perhaps a little provocative, my questions above were sincere, not rhetorical.
If you are selling an authentic Monkey Parliament, then transparency is your friend. In which case, please post some photos of your poster.
Conversely, lack of transparency by any seller is generally a red flag. This includes coyness with the public posting of close-up and context images (especially when the sale item isn't a unique or original artwork). It also includes being unforthcoming or evasive about provenance details.
Such behaviour is quite often an indicator of bad faith. It could easily be interpreted as a cynical effort by the seller to retain deniability โ so they can still plead innocent ignorance ("Sorry mate, I had no idea.") if later called out for selling a fake.

It is framed to conservation standard in a heavy "gilt" style fram which complements this work, in my opinion. I have done a little research re pricing and seeing lows of 10k-12k with reputable galleries. I think my pricing is fair, the item is mint condition, come with provenance from Drang Gallery and accompanying invoice etc. Please message with any questions.

Then some proper close ups, and inspection of paper weight.

You will need to post up close pictures of the prints and people on here will help you find out if these are real.
If I were you I would get the help here before you contact the Gallery. The chances of the M.P being real are slim as a Gallery selling more than one of these looks dodgy. (hope I'm wrong)

I purchased two but they were so creased and bashed through having been stuffed in undersized tubes they were unable to be rolled out without having more creases than a rhinos buttocks. I was sent a further two replacements which were also not great in condition but better than the first two.
The purchase price of around ยฃ10 plus postage was fair enough had they arrived in good condition. I cannot believe the money they are now changing hands for - crazy ๐
