Not enjoying these as much as previous releases, would go for prison painter of the two.

I think these might be growers Im not totally sure what I think of them at the moment.

Dolk is definitely one that works on the grand scale and is a bit....meh on paper.

I like the old preview approach. Gives you a week to argue about whether the're any good or not

From the direction of his brush I am guessing he is painting on the black stripes.

I actually think this is a rather clever piece by DOLK and could represent many things to many people.

For me it reflects the ability for each one of us to fail to reach our full potential. Restricted by a risk adverse society and ground down by the constant pressure to conform. A broken man whose dreams and aspirations have disappeared.

I liked the prison painted since I read the article about how we painted it inside a prsion.

But alas, I too am spent out at the moment and will have to be passing as well.

Agreed with above about the boxer working better with different dimensions.

The prisoner painted inside the prison was a different image the one with the ball and chain and not this new one as far as i know both stunning imo though

Seen that as well but just a poster...liking the prisoner image though.

I think the Prison Painter is a winner in my opinion... Loved it since the B Nites show!

Prisoner is tops. My favorite DOLK for quite some time. Like others have said it has so many different possible readings.
