Tox is about vandalism not being arty, if you think the work is celebrating his art you have missed the point. A fact some of you might not know is that it is illegal to profiteer from your crime exploits once convicted, I think this print draws an interesting point, that as an artist he is given a cushion from profiteering, but as a vandal he would not be allowed to do this. I'm adding one to my collection, but from a graff background its possible to understand the exploits of trecking out in the middle of the night to put your mark on trains, trackside walks, grabbing a crafty 10 seconds when no one is looking at that blank space, which Tox represents.

The sad fact is that there will always be โartistsโ with more commercial ambition than him, better pr, and more accessible and appealing works who will find more success and reward for their endeavours. These prints by Tox are a golden souvenir for those that donโt necessarily limit themselves to an appreciation of the obvious, and wish to show support and respect for the feats of a few.
