In the dead of the sweltering New York City night, a warning shot was fired across the poop deck known as Mr. Brainwash aka Thierry Guetta. Street art conglomerate, TrustoCorp, embarked on a large anti-MBW campaign last night, defacing several prominent Brainwash pieces in NYC's Meatpacking district. The message? "Locals Only, No Fakes, No Phonies".

I understand dissing the MBW show promos (and really like some of Trustocorp's work), but the "locals only" warning is a real turn off. Disappointing.

I know they each have their own rep. But in my eyes they are just ponceing off somebody elses back.
Team robbo have a case, in Banksy goin over a robbo peice, TC have no reason to do this other than self promotion.
