Help - bought print from artist but not received, by clairey on Oct 6, 2010 19:31:41 GMT 1, Hi guys,
I wonder if you could help me!
I bought a print from an artist (not via this site - but they do have an artist profile on here), sent the money via bank transfer to their personal bank account in early June and despite promises its been sent I have not received it.
I have not heard from them since 11th August when they said it was in the post.
It wasnt for much money (£37) but thats not the point, I really wanted the print and now just feel ripped off 
My emails (and PM via this site) to them are now just being ignored.

this kind of behaviour does go on - not often but it does happen....
and some excuses are genuine ..so stay cool until you hear back.

OR any replies to my emails.
I will be much more careful paying anyone by bank transfer in future....

Yes spoke to bank who say that as its a bank transfer it cannot be reversed....It was only £37 so not the end of the world.
Its been 6 months now with no reply to mine or wizbong's emails...
I know the artist is registered on here but not active...as he has not read the pm I sent (icon is a closed envelope) and has not posted on the forms since 2008 I think.

Am wondering if you can be of any assistance to me, I need about 1,500 euros to make the necessary arrangement in other to bring her home, I traveled with little money due to the short time I had to prepare for this trip and never expected things to be the way it is right now. Any amount you can loan would be highly appreciated since I don't know your financial status at the moment, nothing is too little to save a life! I'll pay back as soon as I return, I need to get her home ASAP because she is going through a lot of pain at the moment and the doctor have advised that it is necessary that the tumor is operated soon to avoid anything from going wrong.

Five - According to his Twitter message...his account was hacked so its not him who actually sent the email. Some scammers hacked the account and sent the email to his whole address book.
