EELUS • Not Everything is so Back & White, by Ruggs on Jul 6, 2010 11:49:01 GMT 1, Got this newsletter info today. Thought i'd share the details about the forthcoming 'Not Everything Is So Black and White' print release.
I know a lot of you are still waiting very patiently for this print to drop and I promise it is on it's way. It's a complex 20 colour print and with lots of other things going on, the production has taken longer than expected. As soon as they're ready I'll send a mail out letting you all know exactly when they'll be up on the site and ready to buy. Until then, sit tight and keep that cash to one side. The print will be an edition of 120 for £210 and there will also be a VERY limited hand finished version. I'm afraid I can't reserve prints for people, it's going to be a first come, first served deal.

I prefer it to Nola. Way prefer it!
Value aside, if i had to hang one on my wall for life and never sell id choose the eelus everytime.

If you argue he's a poor man's Banksy, then you'll argue that any stencil artist other than the big man is. Some of Eelus's prints on show in London at the minute.

Seemed like he was going in an interesting new direction. But this new show felt like he just trawled magazines and books for images he could give his style too. No meaning or real thought. I could be wrong!

I thought the faces with the geometric shapes etc were the most interesting pieces from the London show, i'm tired of seeing girls with wings etc now though..!

Why is screenprinting the favorite technique when it can be dealt with high quality inkjet printing nowadays ? Given the number of colours, I am not sure screenprinting is the cheaper compared to inkjet printing.
I am not familiar with screenprinting technique but why is it difficult to produce ? Is it because of the colour rays alignment on the grey BG ?
