Nola was all about the placement of the original piece of street art for me and it translated onto paper better than others from New Orleans for me
Anyone know if Eelus did this on a wall? That would look good..... not a canvas on a wall but all the colours streaked down a building somewhere

I have to admit that this is not great. I actually like some of Eelus's images and someone was selling a pretty good original recently on this board.
For me this image's interest seems to be more about who came up with the image first or its comparison to Nola. IMO that's not an issue for me as Nola knocks spots of this.

I liked that a lot about his new body of work. Prior to this I haven't owned any eelus.

But having seen it pop up on my screen a number of times now, the more I look at it, the less it speaks to me.
