I've been in an MRI scan machine which must be similar dimensions, and yeah, it aint much fun, even tho I kept my eyes closed the whole time.
Luckily in this crazy modern age they'll probably be able to get a film deal out of it, and the lot of them never have to work again.

Like you Wiz, felt claustrophobic looking at that capsule - and they've got a hour in it!
Did wnder how they chose order of ascent - though do know they put most vulnurable first.
A few days ago I saw this on the bbc website - the second page shows a 3d image of where the minors were trapped. Puts the scale of the task into perspective.

Also, just heard that one of them forgot to clock in at the start of his shift back in August... doh!
