This is too funny. MBW gets everyone so uptight it's hilarious. samuraiwriter is the only one to get it here.
And to be clear, (although I do have some respect for MBW making a mockery of the art world) it should have been obvious my earlier post was sarcasm. Anyone with common sense would understand there is a good chance that his dealers were bidding. But actually this happens often, even to respected and established artists. .I mean. Not that I'm suggesting MBW isn't respected or established. ;D ;D ;D

I laughed to myself and left his gallery about 2 minutes later after he tried selling me a damaged Stop and Search print that he claimed was completely mint for weeks prior. I flew from out of town for the purchase and must say that he is truly a (Removed) and a huge fan of MBW. He had the original Obama Superman which also gave me a good chuckle on the way out!

I'd go along with that, I bought recovery plan because I liked it (on ebay for a ยฃ20 less than original price), don't expect any value rise. I didn't buy this because it is rubbish.
If I like his next one I will buy it, I buy what I like rather than what art snobs tell me is good.
