I judge a street artist on how true theyโve stayed to the craft. And by craft I mean not chasing people down for copyright infringement, when theyโve made a living ripping off others.
Banksy is a cutthroat business person, more self congratulatory and a better set promoter than any other artist in his time. He knows how to work the press and based on their strictly positive reporting on him Iโm sure there are plenty Banksyโs sitting in the homes of various Guardian exec homes....
Banksy is literally the UK edition of K-Pop (government funded art (what other fucking artist has plexi priveledges and will have the government after you if you tag over them?)
