Fun video and great band. Thanks for posting.
Was thinking about going to see them live last Sunday, but decided against it in the end. With the passing of decades and the absence of Biafra, I figured the experience would do my spirit more harm than good.
Ironically, when I first saw your username years ago, I wondered if you were a neo-Nazi.
[Maybe "neo-Nazi" is too blunt. Those I've come across in the past prefer the term "nationalist" โ which seems to be like the fascist equivalent of "big-boned".]

This is wonderful. Thank you for posting.
[It's a sad state of affairs when a not insignificant percentage of my musical discoveries start to come from an urban art forum and television advertisements. But at least I remain curious and open to new sounds.]
The initial lyrics for the song are perfect: "The smell of piss is so strong it smells like decent bacon".
Without wishing to cause unnecessary offence, I'd argue that line is a latter-day "It was the best of times, it was the worst of times..."
For someone in their 20s, the scenes featured in the video are like, "Shoot me in the head right now." And once they reach 40 or 50, the very same scenes will probably become, "This isn't so bad after all. It's familiar, predictable, and actually quite comforting."
That non-singer with the cap checking his telephone initially reminded me of Bez, but without the freaky dancing, gurning and maracas. Afterwards, I saw him more as a Chris Lowe-type of character.
Here's another song I found and enjoyed โ Fizzy, shot in Notting Hill, London, outside Rough Trade Records in April 2014:

I have them bookmarked, and worth keeping an eye on. Not the most productive, but produce some quality stuff.

What Music are you listening to at the moment ?, by met on Feb 1, 2015 5:10:16 GMT 1, For Pixies fans, those who fantasise about the Lady in the Radiator, or those who allow themselves to indulge in the fantasy of an afterlife: [...] Awesome - the Bkack Francis vocal wins it every time for me Although I love the vocals of Black Francis, for me Kim Deal singing In Heaven wins by a nose โ based on the perhaps skewed rationale that I could listen to her version more often consecutively and regardless of what mood I'm in.
If you haven't seen it yet, check out the video of the Pixies on Night Music (previously, Sunday Night) in 1989. Apparently it was their first appearance on US television.
I especially like Tame (starting at 3:16), a song with possibly my favourite opening line ever.
For the average, uninitiated American family watching the performance of that song at the time, one can only imagine what they were thinking. Maybe, "Umm... Has Sam Kinison formed a band?"
