I will put you on a waiting list in the event some payments arent received. Im also starting a silkscreen list, but would need quite a few orders to justify doing it. Once again, thanks for all the support!!!

Crazy Jake ๐บ๐ธ Michael Jacob, by Michael Jacob on Mar 14, 2008 19:11:47 GMT 1, stradled, i drew a grid on the back side of the paper. i then taped a metal ruler (with a hole in it) to a patio window. I moved the paper around lining each dot up. Once it got lined up, I started first with my finger. Then I used the end of sharpie marker and gently pushed it out. I had more failings than successes. Theres many ruined sheets lying in the trash today. The worst one was when I ruined the 42nd dot! By the end though, I was getting pretty good at it.

I think it is incredibly relevant and right. It is a watershed for civil rights in the USA. It needs to be recorded and appreciated. It draws a line and the future changes.
If Hilary does it, make one with pink....

Whatever we believe both democratic candidates are being being labelled either by race or gender, but going beyond this a vote for either and especially for Obama is a huge step for the US considering their social history. If he gets in it will be his actions and deeds he will be known for.
As this is an art rather than a political one I'll draw a line there and hope the most capable candidate is elected

Crazy Jake ๐บ๐ธ Michael Jacob, by beau on Mar 15, 2008 11:12:52 GMT 1, this is a brilliant idea and execution love it! however a little worried and bored by the race card and implications, when you some it up as simply as white and black dots it's a little worrying i'd say - we're all the same - no? hmmm basically confused, love it, hate it!
bloody good job though! execution brilliant - how the fack did you emboss that without proper kit?

Ive had a few people ask about the embossing. I can assure you there was alot of trial and errors. I ruined many sheets in the process.

Crazy Jake ๐บ๐ธ Michael Jacob, by Michael Jacob on Mar 25, 2008 14:05:26 GMT 1, UPDATE: The first batch are being mailed out today. I ran into a roadblock getting them packaged up. I was back and forth with the post office. What a headache! Anyway, I had to custom make each shipping package, to make sure the print arrives safely. All pieces will be mailed out by Thursday. Thanks!

Crazy Jake ๐บ๐ธ Michael Jacob, by Michael Jacob on Feb 6, 2008 14:46:17 GMT 1, Hello. Im calling this an uncommissioned commission. A fellow forum member asked that I do this for him. As fate would have it, Ive had difficulty contacting him to get payment. Anyway, he agreed to pay 75 pounds. If anyone wants it, they can have it for 50 Pounds. Thanks.
My next print should be out in 2-3 weeks, and its not FW. A few forum members have requested FW, so Im looking into giclees for them.

Crazy Jake ๐บ๐ธ Michael Jacob, by Michael Jacob on Dec 24, 2007 16:00:11 GMT 1, First off, Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!
Also, thanks for looking. This is my second print, titled โmy little mansion.โ It seemed appropriate to release on Christmas Eve. It follows along the saying โOne mans trash is another mans treasureโ. Iโve got three kids and come the eve of Christmas day, our house will be filled with countless empty boxes and heaps of wrapping paper. If you would like a print, please PM me. The 1st print sold is 1 Pound, the 2nd is 2 Pounds and so onโฆ up to the 75th print being 75 Pounds. Those of you who bought from me in the past know of the โCrazy Jake Rulesโ, please read below to see them again. Iโve tweeked things a little bit. I am taking the family on vacation in a few days. Prints will be mailed out the week of January 14th.
RULES OF COMBAT: Here are the official โcrazy rules.โ
1. Prints will be offered at banksy.info. Silky has done a great job hosting this forum. Thanks Silky. Im in the process of building a website. Any leftover prints will be offered there at a later date.
2. HOW TO BUY: First come first served. PM me that you want a print, and I will fill orders based on when they are received. I will PM you back (within 24 hours) with a total cost. You will then have 24 hours to make payment via Paypal. If you donโt pay in 24 hours, your order will be cancelled. ONLY ONE PRINT PER PERSON PER DAY.
2. COST: I will be selling an edition of 75. The first print is 1 Pound and goes up by one Pound per print. If you get the tenth print, its 10 Poundsโฆ the twentieth print is 20 Pounds and so on. Needless to say, the last print is 75 Pounds. I do this to show appreciation to those who support me quickly. Thanks in advance!!!
3. PROVENANCE: All prints sold will be accompanied by a $1 bill (USA). The serial number will be your provenance. The edition number and coresponding serial number will be posted on the website at a later date. You can also contact me directly before the site is up and running with any questions.
4. SHIPPING: Shipping to the UK and Europe is 8 Pounds. Shipping to the USA is 5 Pounds.
5. REPEAT BUYERS: If you are a repeat buyer, you will have the opportunity to purchase a specific edition number for 50 Pounds. If the first print you purchased was #1, you could buy that number each time for 50 pounds as future prints were released. This only applies to the first 2 days a print is released. After that, you can request a number and I will try my best to accommodate. If no request is made, you will get the lowest number available. This is going to be tough to implement, please bear with me if its bumpy at first. In theory, you could be the first person to request a print, but will end up getting a higher print number because a previous buyer would have paid extra to secure a specific number (keep in mind you will only pay based on when you ordered). If you skip buying a print, you will lose your priority in buying in the future. I hope this makes at least a little sense, now my brain hurts.
6. IN THE FUTURE: My pledge to you is to start off by making ten different prints. I hope to do one every month or so. If Im moderately successful at it, I will continue doing it. If Im hugely successful, maybe a gallery will pick me up and Ill make a zillion dollars like Banksy.
I plan on keeping edition numbers low. This one will be 75. I promise not to exceed edition sizes of 100 (not including AP or AT) for the first 3 prints.
7. WHAT IS AT? I mention 10 AT prints. Im calling those โArtist Tradeโ prints. I love to barter. If you have something youโve done, maybe we could trade?
Merry Christmas
