The regular version has an edition of 4500 usually the signed versions of a book are 100 at LAZ. Edition of 20 should mean 20. Never the less until I hear differently from LAZ I assume it is an Edition of 20.

In what way are they awful? In production or composition or just not to your taste? Better or worse than a stencil of a couple of kids hauling a tesco carrier bag up a pole?
If these appeared at POW, at twice the price, would they would sell out in an instant?

'Sale of the century'? I'll give you that, youthfull exuberence on my part but I'm financially removed from a SV OG.
For what it's worth - I thought (my opinion) that VLH was a load of unimaginative tosh, don't see the cache that attracts people to Nola and that Mr B's best images for a long time were trollies and morons which seem to be regarded as weaker?
As for the price, not sure where cheap and affordable cross but consider it a good offering.

I'm with you that trollies (B&W) and morons are 2 of the best. They're the 2 I have on my wall. But my 3rd B print is VLH which I think is better than both. Getting it framed this week.
This SV does nothing for me at all. It's another one of those weird superhero images that seem to be so prevalent...just not my cuppa.

I hope this board keeps going for another 5 years so we can look back and kick ourselves (or not) and pass judgement on today's decisions. I don't regret not buying the Banksy Kate at release, I've made decisions that have proved to be far more expensive than that. Marriage springs to mind....

No wit , no charm ? Are we looking at the same piece ? Its part of the Wildlives series which is all about misfit children in society not just some super hero parody. Its all a matter of opinion obviously but yours was very dismissive of a very talented painter.

If I read "is strictly limited to only 20 copies" I would think it is limited to 20 copies.
