Perhaps you are not familiar with this piece. Few flat files will store a 5ft piece, not exactly something you run to the local art store to buy... 
Also, the tube this is shipped in is HUGE... at least 8inch diameter IIRC. Even though I agree keeping a piece tubed isn't ideal, it hardly detracts value and even more-so in this 'exceptional' circumstance.

Quite right about that! 5ft is huge....guess it should have been in a frame! Is this still available? up for trades?
