"it's also important to remember that his last solo show was the "Close Encounters" show at White Walls in July 2007 which mostly sold out. Even back at that show, the largest piece (a Downtown L.A. cityscape) was going for $20K. Since then, he has placed pieces in group shows (the "Will Rise" show at Robert Berman, the Robert English curated show at Opera) but nothing on his own. The pieces at both Berman and Opera were large scale and priced over $20K (if my memory serves me well), whereas the ones at Known Gallery have been smaller works, therefor more affordable (relatively speaking).
I'm not sure if Opera prices is where his pricing is at now or if they are inflated. It will be interesting to see how the works sell. It will also be interesting to see what he shows at the MOCA show."
All that being said, given the sizes and amount of work of the pieces as depicted in the video, my guess is no less than $40K for those flags. But that is just a guess ...
