I am a new member to the forums, although I've been lurking these threads for years now. This place has a wonderful market place and discussions... I'm excited to finally be a member.

New piece from Saber entitled "Lost In L.A." I really like how he integrates the flag into the image. The texture on the wall is also quite nice. Not sure if this is on canvas or some other material.

I'm hoping that this will see the start of a new series of work from him. I really like the political slant that this and his Flag 2010/Tarnish images represent.

First, a disclaimer: I'm not affiliated with JetSet Graffiti nor am I JSG in disguise. I personally have no problem with him but understand that others may have legitimate beef with him. I take no sides and am here solely to spread word and discuss one of my favorite artists - Saber.

Now that that's out of the way, I was fortunate enough to be able to watch Saber in action this past weekend as he was putting up this new mural in Downtown L.A. It's right near the wall that D-Face did (photos of that below).

Saber is truly a great guy, nice as hell, and super talented. His artistic range runs the spectrum from straight up street pieces, to metallic and wood sculptures, to abstract paintings, to his recent Flag series, to these cityscape paintings. Watching him in action was truly a treat for both my girlfriend and I (it was her birthday). Anyhow, hope you all enjoy the photos.
