Yep, as I learn more, I'll share my opinions on other threads, I'm sure.
Not sure what to make of that video... Kind of thrilling and sad and hopeful at the same time...
I guess like Mr. Brainwash says, "Life Is Beautiful". Kind of like that, right?

Why should a new thread be created? While I agree it is possible that it could be JSG's crew and/or Saber's crew hyping this print, it is also entirely possible that these newbies are genuine fans of Saber and the print.
Further, seeing as there are numerous threads that go on and on for multiple pages with regard to a print (most current example is the Invader print thread), why should this thread be truncated?
If one doesn't like a thread, they are always able to exercise their freedom not to read it. Seems pretty simple. I do it all the time and, as a result, I never get worked up about something that I could care less about.

Some people have had problems with the other outlet being mentioned, and until that is resolved I think its best to ONLY deal with the Artist direct.
Also I guess buying direct the Artist might even end up with more of the money  as you might be cutting out a middle man.

The successful artist will always need production help, there's no way around it. Our best bet of fully empowering the artist would be to persuade them not to work with this publisher again, but that seems like an elusive task... Particularly since the artist knows him better than any of us, and seems happy with their partnership...

Had a great visit, got to see the outdoor mural for the project and talked to Daniel for quite a while... He let me choose my print number, gave me a ton of DFace stickers and a copy of the Abraham Obama DVD, which I will watch this weekend.
Good experience all around. What a great week for Street Art in Los Angeles!

"Peppers World is an answer to the question of a street artistโs validity. How can a gallery of higher establishment verify the artistโs validity on the street? Instead of seeking my own personal validity by seeking the top I decided to crawl down to gutters of the street. Pepper is the true validity because he is the street."
Seems like having the respect of people who literally live on the streets with his art is really important to him. I know that he has done a few oil paintings of the homeless, like this one called "The Last Stop."
The Arrested Montion interview is great, going into detail about the Army Corps of Engineers, his feelings about Dash Snow and the American Flag: arrestedmotion.com/2010/04/saber-inteview/

This thread is about Saber's print "Pepper's World."
I was disappointed to find that the thread about it had been deleted. I get that people have major problems with the publisher, but I agree with what the admin Silky said "its not fair to tar the artist with the same brush."
I think this artist is amazing and I hope that anyone who agrees with me will contribute to this thread with discussion of his art.

I hadn't noticed the phrase "stop the bullsh*t" before. I really like the way the flag extends beyond the TV; as if to say in America there are no crisp lines and as a people we can not be contained by the simplstic box the media tries to put us in.
