Takashi Murakami Prints, by cityman on Oct 16, 2007 21:42:21 GMT 1, Murakami is handled in Europe by www.galerieperrotin.com although they havenothing for sale right now and won't have anything soon. They also look after Chiho Aoshima, one Murakami's assistants. They have this for sale right now, which I have to say, despite being expensive ($18,000), looks fantastic.

Takashi Murakami Prints, by Pootle on Oct 16, 2007 22:40:30 GMT 1, I've been collecting murakami for a few years - love his stuff. He used to sell his stuff on kaikaikiki but you needed a japanese credit card to buy. He's now represented by gagosian in the US - so i believe they've stopped direct sales now. The 300 edition prints are available at various galleries - I think nosco gallery has a few 50 edition screenprints - but they're much more pricey. Gallerieperotin has stopped selling the 300 edition aoshima lithos (the one in miami has anyway) - but still think you can get the 6 editions. the murakami market's probably going to show some movement now his big retrospective's around the corner!

They sure have. Pricey though. Think you'll find ours much cheaper! Most of our Murakami's are actually cheaper than cost price from Japan now due to their recent price hikes: e.g., from giant robot current prices: T a k a s h i M u r a k a m i " V a p o r T r a i l" O f f s e t L i t h o g r a p h $ 1 8 0 0 . 0 0 (hipart's ยฃ665 inc postage)
T a k a s h i M u r a k a m i " I f I C o u l d D o T h i s , I f I C o u l d D o T h a t O f f s e t L i t h o g r a p h $ 1 8 0 0 . 0 0 (hipart's ยฃ645 inc postage)

I like some of her stuff but I like Murakami's much better. Was surprised to see this weird image go for so much
