It's an edition of 58. If you take for example the Nola which is of 69 and that currently easily gets 4.4k, an edition like this should reach around 5.5k.

That's the price that keeps getting mentioned (well around that). Any print Banksy does whether it is considered the worst or the best, if it's an edition of say 25 it's obviously going to be worth in the region of 5k within a year. Look a the prices of past prints, that's if you can even get them. I don't have any evidence.

Not at all, i like the image a lot, i think its quite witty and if i were looking to buy a Banksy print it would be up there after the Rats and Monkeys probably. I am quite cynical and realistic though when it comes to hype and initial euphoria along with silly prices both for buyers and sellers alike over something and prefer to wait until dust settles to an average, will see though.

its not the edition number, its based on the fact the people that got the warm grey are spastistically less likely to sell it and it was available to the outside (theoretically) public. Plus the fact that its neutral for the wall is a big plus for many people who don't want a massive square of purple on the wall.

I'd say that a solid proportion of the grumblers are more likely to flip as they were queuing for the dollar, not the art - not that this would include you of course.

If you had slept 12 hours in a queue in -3 degrees and were fairly in a queue and safely in that queue..then someone f**ked you over. Then you would moan as well and dont pretend you wouldn't. Its very easy for people to sit at their desks demanding a website drop saying that all those people are moaners. Try it yourself...

After this there will most likely be no more prints for a long time as i get the feeling banksy is fed up with all of that stuff.

And dont give the whole 'homeless people do that every night' because their night was probably more civilised and free of people turning into knob heads.

Ive actually got a friend whos homeless and he is perfectly happy that way. There is plenty of places for people to go to, so dont get all high and mighty.
