It's from 1969, and an edition of 100. 2 problems when I'm trying to value it. First, it's dry mounted. Second, there's no paperwork. I have no reason to think it's a fake, but since no one authenticates Lichtenstein prints anymore, there's a good chance I'll never get any documentation on the print. The person I got it from is trying to track down his receipt from when he originally purchased it, but I'm not holding my breath.
So what do you think this will do to the value. Say I used a base value of $5K. How much would the dry mounting and lack of paperwork lower that price?

There never were COA's for prints in the old days one would look up the print to see if it is his catalogue. If you want to feel better then measure it up, it should be 16.75 by 40.75 inches. The dry mount will probably cut off 30% to a serious collector but his prints are so loved by collectors that you may get close to full value on a good auction day.

Thanks for the info. It's 16.75 tall, but slightly shorter than 40.75 wide... More like 40.50, but I guess it could have always been trimmed to frame it at some point

The only thing I would say is that unless you are VERY wealthy ( which of course you may be ??) then you DEFINITELY wont be able to afford an original !!!!!

You can get away with paying much less for his later time period works (completely different style, more modern still life), but then I think that kind of defeats the purpose of owning a classic Lichtenstein.
Assuming you're armed with a hefty budget, I suggest you register on artnet, get educated on precedent auction prices and track upcoming fine art auctions for his works. Another less intensive way is to hire an art consultant who will do all these things (some take a % cut of the price, others work by the hour).
