Wonderful collab!

I've got a little solo show opening this Wednesday 12th Oct at Boca Bar, Paintworks Bristol, 6-10pm. A 10/15 minute walk from Bristol Temple Meads train station. Hope to see some of you there

Here's a few photos of the new show which includes some collaborations with Fanakapan, Jody and Lemak.  If anyone's not familiar with Cheba's more recent work it's created by laying down a first coat, adding a layer of resin, painting another layer on top of the set resin and repeating several times to give a depth to the pieces that unfortunately is never going to come across in a photograph.  The works depict parts of the cosmos like nebulas and star clusters but because the subject matter is so otherworldly and unfamiliar it blurs the line between the representational and the abstract.  The show is on until 7 November and it's well worth seeing in person to get the full effect of the paint suspended in the resin.











Unfortunately, Mr Jago and Inkie's collaboration has long since gone from the venue but 45RPM and Richt's replacement wall is still going strong:
