Not that surprising, recent actual Ebay sales completed have been in the $1,200 US$ range. Sounds like the offers so far match the top recent Ebay offers. Maybe the bar isn't ready to be raised.
Which is about £800 'all in' less ebay / paypal being c. £720?
Don't like all this ' I've been offered 'x' and if you can do better than that PM me' lark. There is a well known medium for online auctions.
