Dellboyy, you and me both it's a hellovalot of fun burning and chucking paint around. The studio seemed to have more paint on it than the actual wood when I'd finished!

Having been quite quiet on here recently, what with moving buckets around APHQ to catch all the drips and finishing several pieces for exhibitions, I thought it was time I poked my head above the parapet again.

I'm currently working on a couple of new larger paintings and also a smaller series, plus an interesting project for a clothing company in Japan. More to be revealed in the not too distant future!

In the meantime I thought it'd be amusing delve into my dusty archives again and see if there was anything worth showing, so after a few gooseberry and bacon alchopops I plucked up the courage and haven't stopped chuckling since.

There's plagiarism, blatant rip offs (but I didn't know at the time honest guv'nor), s***e ideas and badly executed images. All created in 2007.

As usual comments, abuse, ideas, threats, and lethargy looked for

I'll start with a familiar one, this is the daylight version of the 'Wealth Bomber' that was in my previous archive thread.



More guns and missiles... 'Taxis of Evil' and 'War on Error'





And a couple I called 'Weapons of Mass Consumption' 1 and 2 (I didn't know the phrase had been used before... I'd never even heard of the Banksy forum!)





Then I got a bit darker with two birds... 'Combat Eagle' and 'Crow Rider'

Only me, thought I'd post of few little things I've been working and also let people know about the Bermondsey Street Festival on this weekend (Saturday 19 September). I've gone and done something stupid and got a stall to show my work! There's also an exhibition in Delfina (at the end of Bermondsey Street) where I'm showing a couple of large canvases.

If anyone's out and about in London next weekend and fancy dropping by it'd be great to meet and have a chat. Just go to London Bridge station, Bermondsey Street is about a three minute walk...

The pics below are some of the new stuff I've been working, most of it will be scattered willy nilly on my stall with lots of other stuff, but the two large clown canvases are going in the Delfina exhibition.

These pics aren't the best, the colours are a bit more subtle with the burning blending in with the range of whites and greys!

'2B or not 2B' (posh water colour paper)


I've been experimenting with burning through my stencils on wood but found it works just a well on thick paper! I got the background for this one by burning then adding tea and acrylic.

And here's the only canvases I've completed of the 'Tipping Point' piece. They will be shown at Delfina on Saturday (and maybe Sunday!? not sure yet).

Good idea, get your art to the masses! Think i'm most impressed with your groovy 70's stylee curtains though!

I've just finished a couple of commissioned images for a Japanese company, not the usual way I work as they chose the images and I had to work from them. The first was a test image, typewriter, and the second two burnt versions, singing and smoking, were the ones used. All comments appreciated

Ahhh the world's crashing down around our ears, there's a huge global recession that could turn to a depression... doom and gloom everywhere. On that note and fearing another winter like '78 and '79 I decided to try and put a smile on people faces. Stay positive and keep moving your funky body to the rhythm of the music!
