All feedback and comments appreciated...
Hope everyone has a great (sunny!) bank holiday weekend Fingers crossed, apart from going to Tunnel 228 tomorrow, I have the whole weekend to paint ;D

It's been a hectic couple of weeks but APHQ has rallied to the challenge and all the projects seem to have gone without a hitch!
I have just come back from Upfest '09 which was a spectacular weekend of painting, socialising and drinking. Thanks to everyone that came over and chatted and all the artists I met. I must give a huge shout to Steve, Kim and the Upfest team for putting on such a cracking event, and dealing with the weather with a smile on their faces! Mrs AP had a great time too, lying in, shopping and dining out. Below are a few pics I managed to take of my little contribution to the festival.

This was a gift to one of the Upfest crew who really liked the image... on a scrap of Upfest board.
I also sent a canvas to sell at Upfest, half of the money going to the National Association of Children of Alcoholics charity. The original version which was an edition of 5 has sold out, but this is a Upfest '09 1 of 1 special edition.
If you're interested in it contact Upfest directly and I'm sure they'd be more than happy help you out
Just before Upfest I had the opportunity to hand pull my first screen print, I have never done one before so it was a fantastic day learning new techniques and playing with a lot of gooey ink.
I can only show a quick teaser image atm (but I'm sure you eagle eyed people will work out the finished image  ) because the show it's going in is being organised for the end of this month... rest assured it will be a small edition and very reasonably priced. Watch this space for more info!
Finally, before cutting and spraying the Edgeart Small is Beautiful Tiger mini canvases I painted a couple of larger canvases of the image (which I never did last year). One is unique and the other an edition of three:

... I also just found out that the boards around the tobacco factory car park are staying for the duration, but the hexagons (like the one I painted on) are being dismantled soon to reuse next year.
If anyone wanted to put in a silly offer for the board I painted, had a big enough garden to display it and could organise delivery I'm sure the Upfest crew would let you have it (and the money to the National Association of Children of Alcoholics would be great)
It could always be cut up too...

I've already spayed several versions of my 'Tipping Point' piece, but these were done using the new larger stencil I cut for the TB+TC event in Brighton and Upfest in Bristol.
They're both on old boards, 85 x 105 cm, all comments and feedback muchly appreciated

I think I must have had too much spare time this week as I managed to update my website www.aprovocateur.co.uk. Simplify all the cr*p I write and also adding some funky frames to some of the pieces, nip along if you get a chance and let me know what you think
