For Trade : Framed CYW Warm Grey (of 58) , by Deleted on Jan 10, 2011 19:34:18 GMT 1, I reckon its pretty much up to whoever owns the print to do what they like with it, but if I had one of these Queue Jumpers, i'd really consider myself very lucky and hang on to it. Good luck in your search for another Banksy.

i agree, this edition was a goodwill gesture, it's worse than selling a Christmas or Birthday present as they are often unwanted - you actually asked for this and now you want to get rid? how ungrateful.
up to you, as Slammer says but IMO it's bad form.

To some extent agree, moaned and whined for a print only to punt it on a few weeks later, SMH?
Having said this, I reckon there's very few people who would've bought the CYW for ยฃ450 if they'd known they could only sell it the next day for ยฃ300 (like a Maserati..?) so on the other hand don't blame someone for trousering ยฃ3K (or ยฃ1bio if you're J'boy).
That's a lot of change - onwards and upwards with POW's master class in marketing, pass this one and you'll have your MA....

For Trade : Framed CYW Warm Grey (of 58) , by Phat Spider on Jan 10, 2011 22:05:44 GMT 1, Yeah - as i said - my 2nd or 3rd (actually 3rd) favourite banksy - the first two being the two rats mentioned above
I get why some people think this is a bit out of order but the way i see it - i was lucky enough to buy the print for ยฃ450 - POW got their money, Banksy got his, his chosen charity got theirs, so whether this sits on my wall and is worth ยฃx or whether another one or more prints sit on my wall worth the same ยฃx is sort of irrelevant.
Second issue - the girlfriend isn't the biggest fan of this print (but loves the rats) so I could trade her instead

(That one looks great though)

It may be his print, but i think title still belongs to POW - as they retain the COA.
also its a huge a slap in the face to POW and their goodwill gesture

For Trade : Framed CYW Warm Grey (of 58) , by Deleted on Jan 19, 2011 22:10:40 GMT 1, If POW are issuing COA's then they'd be in a tricky place not to issue one if the item is genuine tho' right?
More of a 'fuck you' to POW that a slap in the face I think - lesson learned? All I'd say is that personally I wouldn't be able to rationalise selling/trading this specific run.

For Trade : Framed CYW Warm Grey (of 58) , by truetiger on Jan 19, 2011 22:36:58 GMT 1, Ive been offered quite a few CYW but have declined due to no certificate. How has everyone been buying these without the certificates? Have you spoke to the people at pow about instantly changing the name?

For Trade : Framed CYW Warm Grey (of 58) , by leumasdarnley on Jan 19, 2011 22:41:44 GMT 1, Not yet I got the protx receipt and pow emails and asked him not to open the print. I took a chance but I the story matched up and timing was right on. Packaging matched up I would not of done it otherwise but with that info and photos I see no reason POW would not issue a cert like any other print if I applied.

so long as you have the original credit card receipt then who cares about a COA? i can understand if there is no prov and you want it certified, or it is a relatively obscure piece/original.
why are people so obsessed with COA's?

Grey was my initial favourite, bought Slate on the day and don't regret it - would have done the exact same frame job on Grey if i had that.
the idea was to remove as much white border as possible (i know the bottom edge is too deep still, i'm going to get my man to re-do it for me next time i'm up - was my fault!) to accentuate the shadow detail on the hooded character and lead all eyes to the dog
