Don't ask me which street it was on but it was around the corner from Cruise (the shop) and it looked like someone had tried to remove it from the wall because a few of the tiles in the top right had been picked off, but it had obviously been stuck on pretty well and thankfully they had given up and left it...
I have a few pics on my phone but don't have my usb cable today! Could always upload them later...
On a side note... as a cheaper alternative, we could all pitch in for some new tiles and put up a replica CCTV... Instead of lining this thieving gits pockets!!!

Ivader is against his stuff being removed from the streets as it all started as a big game ofr him counting points.
It has already been point out in the past that any street pieces removed from the streets would be considered by Invader as fakes if any authentication would be attempted!

If only he showed the tiles, we could know because I am pretty sure the real ones had not been removed before damages. This is so silly !

The only way to know for sure would be to go and ask the owner of the wall. If he didn't remove it himself, he might even be interested of it been put back as I guess his wall (and most of all the advertising on it which he earns money for) has been pictured thousands of times since Invader put the piece up !
The owner of the wall is the only one who could really complain to the police in London and have the real name of the seller from ebay.
It happened in France, a baker who had a space invader above his bakery had a space invader thief arrested. The thief tried to remove it during the night but the baker was there and called the police.
He was an old man knowing nothing about space invader but considered the mosaic was part of the building. The space invader has just been damaged this time. Invader passed by, saw that and asked the baker about it. The baker told him the whole story and gave him the "permission" to repair it. He even brought him a ladder.
Sometimes the owners conservative reactions can strangely help us too !
To sum up, the most urgent is to have the item removed from ebay, without buying it of course because if it is sold it could give ideas to other idiots.
Thanks a lot for your support. Whatever happens, this space invader will at least still exist in pictures and memories.

Invader uses swimming pool cement (or something similarly hardcore) to fix his items and that stuff is not going anywhere without destroying the tiles. I was in Amsterdam when they were taking a building down with an invader attached. I asked them to try and rescue to the invader and they could not remove a single tile without it breaking or being severely chipped.
The image he's posted of the actual item has not been removed from a wall.
