One would imagine that they would take a considered view and not just send right to buy solely from what the 'computer' spits out?

I would have thought most emails would have gone out by now;
computer picks 175 names...quick crossreference against a blacklist, repeat addresses or those names who bought in store...then press send...

They don't usually take an email addy when buying in person so how would they know if you already own one. With the amount of requests I'd doubt they would check in depth. 5 emails from the same IP is an easy check for them. Ebay do it all of the time to avoid shill bidders.
