And seeing as there's upto 500 prints in some dodgy colours this might be the next trolleys.

Banksy • Choose Your Weapon Print, by Neate Michael on Dec 13, 2010 18:03:33 GMT 1, My brother (who is based in London) is one of those who queued and lost out due to pusher-in types. He sent a polite email to POW on Saturday when he had woken up (he was around 150th in the POW queue) informing them of his story.
He resent it this afternoon at my prompting when the message to email appeared on the POW homepage.
The response (which he forwarded to me) was a polite, sorry, we will get security earlier if we do it again.
I think he was hoping they would sort him out a print, I am not sure that a polite email was as much as they can to make you feel happy
Still they are probably swamped by chancers hoping for the same, and I guess it was a long shot that POW would make him happy.
Better luck next time Sam!

Banksy • Choose Your Weapon Print, by kunstrasen on Dec 13, 2010 18:05:19 GMT 1, Our Christmas Tale or a story about love: Hi Guys, we’re the so called german couple and we wanted to share our view as tourists with you. We visited London four weeks ago and stayed one week. We had a great time in London and had the first time visiting all the galleries we only know from their online presentations...
Yep and I would have been there too if it would have been for work. No luck in the lottery ever since 'Donuts' as well. Cutted, wish I would still live in the UK then at leat I would have a Banksy now.

Hey love, this is really a great story and really worth a lot more then all the ebay money this print could possible get! It's so cool to know that there are actual art lovers and Banksy fans who managed to grab a print from source and have such amazing stories to go with them
I drink to you!

What SD said - this method is too broken.
Wasn't fortunate in the lottery, there's always Saturday but congratulations to those that were.

Banksy • Choose Your Weapon Print, by stevesoho on Dec 13, 2010 18:17:17 GMT 1, Our Christmas Tale or a story about love: Hi Guys, we’re the so called german couple and we wanted to share our view as tourists with you. We visited London four weeks ago and stayed one week. We had a great time in London and had the first time visiting all the galleries we only know from their online presentations. We visited a lot of museums as well and it is awesome that you don’t have to pay for the entrance for most of them. We had a great week over there, so we decided last week to give it a shot again and go for our chance that there will be a release on Saturday morning. I sent that many pm’s to Fragile about a possible release, I’m sure this top guy hates me now. He didn’t know anything, but I love to gamble and we decided to give it a try The flights were found fast, cause there is only 1 flight, which was early enough to join the queue if there will be one forming. We started at 12 o’clock and I picked up my girlfriend at her flat, I was so nervous, that we took the wrong motorway and almost missed our flight, cause we found our first long queues for that day at the airport. Lucky as we were on that day, the plane got a 20 mins delay so we did it. After arriving in London we had to wait 40 mins for our backpacks, which makes me nervous again and I was happy to join the queue at M+S in the low 50’s. It was a nice spot, watching all the Soho peoples and drinking beer with the daddychaps, thanks mate, not only for the beer, you did a awesome job at POW. Thanks to you and your mates to keep the small chance for us, getting a print, alive. Had some nice talk with Carol and her man, until someone shouted that we should check our e-mails and almost everyone started to run like mad. For my girlfriend and me who aren’t local it wasn’t easy to get to POW into a given time, but we decided to follow daddychaps for the caps. We lost them there because, the cab was full and we lost some serious time in getting another cab, so we ended up at about 150 in the queue at POW. I knew it was close, but it could work out. Daddychaps and his mates did they best they could to keep the queue like it was and I recounted the queue several times during this night. I was not really sure but I ended up at 180 in the morning. Need to thank Sand for a great time there, had some nice talk with him and his mates and I’m more than happy that he scored. We shared our chairs and blankets with each other and watched out for the others stuff if we get some drinks or meals. My girlfriend felt a sleep very deep and had a good one in her warm sleeping bag, … wasn’t that warm for me, but Sand made me laugh and I was happy to be part of that event. After the security arrived it was horrible, cause there were greed and dollars in a lot of eyes I saw. I was always afraid of my girlfriend, but she’s a hero. We lost more and more and was pushed back in the queue, so we ended up seeing that a guy which was 8 in front of me got the golden ticket 200. We were very sad that it didn’t work out, but we knew we did our best. We didn’t push or anything else and we were 50 in Soho and 150 at POW, we know under normal circumstances, we scored. In the next second we saw some guys running away like mad, and we didn’t think twice and ran behind these guys. I asked them were they ran to, but all I got was a “f**k off” (This was what I understood after standing several hours in cold dark London), but we decided to follow these guys. We lost them at the underground station, cause we ran out of funds (damn London is so expensive), we didn’t find the right machine to pay with our cards, so we failed in getting the underground and lost everyone. We stood there with no cash, holding each others hand, freezing and where totally down. We talked about getting to the airport and sleep there, cause we were totally finished. We were just sad and tired, but we decided to give it a last try at M+S, just to tell Dora what happened this night in East End. We didn’t hoped for a print, we just want to tell someone what happened this night. We didn’t ran nor hurry to get to M+S and as we arrived a guy, which I now know is SteveSoho, asked us if wanted to queue here. We looked each other and weren’t sure about it but a quite and shy yes came out of my lips. So SteveSoho, damn I thank you so much, wrote number 59 on my hand and number 60 on my girls hand. Just behind us, a girl arrived, she looked very sad, too and I’m happy that she got a print with number 61. SteveSoho told us after some time that he talked to Simon and there were 60 prints aviable for this queue here. Peoble hugged each other and they cheered and felt into each others arms. I couldn’t be that happy cause we were the end of the queue and if there would anyone push we’re straight out. I had to many up and downs this night and I don’t wanna believe what I just heard. Anything went very well with this queue and we scored the last two tickets, which were given away this day. Happy faces all over the street, it was like a Christmas tale… I met several Forum members at the queue but we were too tired and sucked out for a longer conversation. Thanks Ruggs for the whiskey, it made my day at the airport. We almost lost the prints at the airport, cause the german police wasn’t so sure what they are worth… happy that they never heard about banksy. We slept the rest of the weekend and just smiled each other, knowing we had a trip and a story that noone could ever take and we both knew that this prints will never leave our flats again, reminding us of our crazy trip into the dark, the nice peoples we met and our love for each other. The Prints are already at the framer and one will hang in my flat over my coach and the other one will hang at my girlfriends flat in her living room. Thanks again to anyone out there, who made it that absolute unbelievable weekend. Cheers ... and 1000 excuses for my bad english .
Hi "Love"
Glad you got one, i was in front of you first at M&S, then behind you at POW, then in front of you back at M&S,

Banksy • Choose Your Weapon Print, by grafik on Dec 13, 2010 18:18:52 GMT 1, oooooof. maybe the council will take pity on you if PoW don't? nah, on second thoughts, i think you're more likely to get sympathy out of PoW! I think you're screwed anyway lol. I'm wondering if grafik scored one, I haven't heard from him yet
Ive been out christmas shopping and posting more catalogs to our international friends, (great value btw royal mail, £2 for a tube to USA)
No lottery win for me. But still hope with this letter on POW's website.

P.O.W. have not issued any C.O.A's as yet with the prints so somebody could be knocking out a shit load of fakes and by the time you find out they will be long gone! Judging by the gangsters that took over the queue it's only a matter of time till fakes start to appear!

Banksy • Choose Your Weapon Print, by JockoLad on Dec 13, 2010 18:36:29 GMT 1, Who was the most deserving Forum member not to get a print?
Maybe if we identify them we could ask POW to ask Banksy if he could create an origianl piece just for them.
For starters, I have a peg leg, am mild mannered, am kind to children and animals, always respect a queue, help old ladies cross the road, and have attended church every Sunday of my life. I keep good personal hygiene and have cheerful disposition. For the reasons above I nominate myself.
I think POW need to start realising that prints should only be made available to good guys. Capitalism has its place, but not in the contemporary art world.
Grafik should not be considered for nomination as he is a xenophobe with a strong taste of sour grapes in his mouth (hopefully sour grapes that were grown somewhere in 'Eastern Europe').
I'm away to make up my pleading email to POW about the bad boys in the queue in an attempt to bag a free Banksy; I deserve one after all!

Banksy • Choose Your Weapon Print, by St. Art Gallery on Dec 13, 2010 18:39:25 GMT 1, Appearantly I can join the group of disappointed art lovers (and flippers).
I hope prices will come down a bit in the future so I will be waiting for a good opportunity to get me one.
I guess everything has been said now about this print release. Let's hope POW will learn from this.
Really annoying to see all those print popping up at Ebay. Best way to discourage flipping is simply not bidding more than 450 GBP. If everyone would do this it won't be interesting to flip. But I realize this can only happen in a perfect world and obviously this isn't.
Finally I would like to say I am very disappointed I didn't get one. But as mentioned before it is just a piece of paper and there are more important things in life.
Maybe it would be a good idea that everyone who wanted to buy the print and didn't get one donate the 450 GBP to charity.
Merry Christmas to everyone.

Xenophobia: is an irrational, deep-rooted fear of or antipathy towards foreigners
CONSIDERING i'm a foreigner myself I think its pretty rude of you to say i'm a racist. I made a single joke about the availability of cheap labor from Eastern Europe and now i'm branded racist!?
Do you know my entire ethnic background? no. so schuuuuch
I do have a strong taste of grapes in my mouth, but its mainly from this cheap ass wine i'm drinking.

Nice DFace on your site...........(is this your Gallery?). www.st-artgallery.com/art/her-royal-hideous.html

Rants away at all and sundry then goes feeding the beast he alleges to despise. Maybe he's just building a database of flippers and will out them by publishing all the private messages he recieves...
Im not here to catch anyone out, discretion assured, please dont make false accusations- Im not here to OUT ANYONE. Your post imo is irrelevant unless you have one for sale and are worried i might out you?

Congrats to those who got one either @pow or today through the lottery.

My bad.
