Banksy • Choose Your Weapon Print, by grafik on Dec 13, 2010 20:29:34 GMT 1, A combination of all three, AND later arriving in time and watching my position fall very quickly (10mins) Sorry 70-100 people being paid to queue and arriving en masse to queue, sorry i didn't spend a lot of hours travelling see that happen.Very far from being alone in this though i won't name 'n shame them as i see no shame in that situation. Queue counters were very frequent and each count was 15 -20 to me.It was do nothing and end up in the 300's,go home or take action From the people i've heard who did the same and (oddly enough all being hangers rather than sellers) they too are glad they took action
for the people that missed it, this is CG and his friends justification for pushing infront of other collectors who had waited in line.

Banksy • Choose Your Weapon Print, by eastonpromise on Dec 13, 2010 20:37:05 GMT 1, I hit a guy in self defence trying to protect 1 man from 4 that's the truth of it I saw the fight from a bit of a distance but in CG's defence, the guy would have got one hell of a beating, especially when he went down, so if CG played a part in stopping it (with force or without) then in a way, good on him. The three pikeys fighting the drunk would not have held back and at one stage were trying to stamp on his head....
here is Hlarmy's pic from earlier.....the Scrote with the pitbull is one of the guys that beat up the drunk, from the way they were going at him I don't think they would of stopped either.
just thought the picture might bring some clarity that CG was not breaking up a fight/using the odd punch on your regular forum types but as already stated a pikey scumbag.

Indeed. So much bile in this thread. Seriously it's just a print. Spend the money you would have spent on the print plus framing on an unsigned from the bay if you want a banksy that much people!

Banksy • Choose Your Weapon Print, by Poppy Sunshine on Dec 13, 2010 20:39:34 GMT 1, Looks like this could be a common theme for a while but I would love to get hold of a Choose your weapon.
I have loads of swaps but for starters there is a choice from the following. Obviously some can be paired up and I do have a lot of smaller value stuff but have tried to keep the list to a realistic size.
Case Chocolate Girl Original. Eine Vandalism canvas. Unique pair of black and white Slinkachus. Large SPQR Patty Hirst canvas and Mayday canvas. Damien Hirst rare signed limited edition photo with dead head. Micallef Peacekeeper and Improvised minotaur framed. Holly Thoburn canvas and also painted 12 inch disc. Dface 1/1 superman on etched background and canis servo regina. Dface yellow poptart and blue poptart.
Please pm if any are of interest and if you want any photos leave me an email address to send to.
Thanks.

Banksy • Choose Your Weapon Print, by Billy Sport on Dec 13, 2010 20:40:15 GMT 1, the drunk guy was not pushing in, he was wondering around chatting to everyone, he thought we were lining up for x factor, as i believe Hlarmy has a voice like an angel ;D and ross's beatboxing should be seen to be believed i dont know what triggered the start of the fight, but he got a few licks in himself before being pack attacked. CG was in first to break it up, a few others joined in pulling them off, and others were moving in to help.

Banksy • Choose Your Weapon Print, by ABC on Dec 13, 2010 20:42:43 GMT 1, I was having a chat with a Royal marine last week who had lost a leg and one eye in Afghan, it makes you realise how lucky you are sometimes, and how ever hard done by you feel there is always someone worse off. A reality check is needed for some people in this country, this scene has just invited a bunch of low lifes in and its only going to get worse. If they don't Police the Queues next time, someone will get slotted for sure.

Fair play Wiz, my bad....I know you are a fan of these types of dog and I am sure you are a responsible owner unfortunatley it's scum like this that bring bad press to the breed.

Banksy • Choose Your Weapon Print, by raiden on Dec 13, 2010 20:47:19 GMT 1, No luck on my end. Unless one of the 10 or so people I asked to enter as well comes through for me - aunt, uncle, cousin. Art, particularly this print, is all I want for Christmas truthfully. (and believe me, I live pretty spartan)
Anyone know how many entries there were?
I am super curious. Based on the results I'm hearing, was it 4 forum members who have said they or their significant others got the email? Probably another 5 regular contributors bagged one and just haven't said so. Then probably another 7 or so among the members of the forum who are inactive landed one.
Trying to extrapolate from the forum, odds seem at best 1/500. So 500 X 175 prints equals = 87.5K entries at minimum.
That's pretty rough. You think Dora will tell us?
Oh, where was the white released?

I see the admiration but some time ago I paid a very heavy price for getting involved in a 3 on 1 - it's never worth it, certainly not these days. As mcuh as I hate to say it 'best to just call the law'

Is that JBoy in the photo - guy in the fur hat, brown shoes and blue jeans looking back at the camera?

Also can you opt against using derogatory and racist terms to describe travelling folk. That guy with the dog does not have any Romany or Irish Travelling blood in him. He is for want of better words one of the British Youth of Today, aka the Chav (CHV or Council House Vermin).
re the bloke in the furry hat. Unless JBOY has lost 10 stone and been drinking the Elixir of Youth then it is not him but you can see the back of my head with the cheese cutter hat on.

Selling on futures.
Basically he's convinced that he'll be able to find whatever colorway you want for much less than he's charging you.
Probably plans on delaying as long as he can in order to fulfill the order(s).
