Banksy • Choose Your Weapon Print, by oneeye on Dec 13, 2010 21:03:32 GMT 1, As far as the VIP gold and silver go, they definitely weren't given out by any means. My good friend was offered a silver. And he paid substantially more for it. I think around 1500 gbp's.

Dear oh dear, not so kool Kris...... Things look to have come full circle - you've actively highlighted flipping as a money making scheme and are now complaining you didn't get a print because people pushed in, the majority of who purely want to do what you were advocating last year.

Banksy • Choose Your Weapon Print, by motor on Dec 13, 2010 21:04:32 GMT 1, I thought JBOY was a collective I can only see one person as described Haha very good but I'm sure that was him pacing up and down the crowd all night..?
Not JBoy. Yes, he was pacing up and down. I did talk to him. Good guy. It was his first Banksy experience. At the beginning he was like 120 in the Q but as the night went on he was jumpedQed by many he was like 160 or so. Some of them our "true fans" members as well as many others so obviously he was anxious if he will actually get the chance to buy the print in the morning. Fortunately he did.

I think the "1/25" only means one out of an edition of 25, rather than them all being number 1 of the various editions.

Hence what I said before about people putting out K.O. versions as there are no C.O.A's these people are so quick to produce bootleg editions when there is money involved and, lets be honest, it's not as if they are having to wait for fakes to come over from the far east, there will be more than a few fakes on Ebay in the coming days!
DON'T BUY ANY ON EBAY AS THERE IS NO C.O.A.!!!!!!!!!
They could knock out a bunch, make £100,000 and then delete there Ebay account before you could do jack about it.
I believe that there are already fakes on Ebay.

Banksy • Choose Your Weapon Print, by revandus on Dec 13, 2010 21:17:48 GMT 1, Anyone know the story with the white prints? Were those VIP only like the gold and silver? Or is it still speculation at this point? My favorite color, or lack thereof. If they were to surprise with a drop of and unsigned on white for £200-300 I would totally get in on it. But really I don't think Banksy will ever release another unsigned print because of the problems with forgeries.
Forgive me for asking a stupid question as I'm new into the scene, but couldn't the forgeries issue be solved by COA?

Banksy • Choose Your Weapon Print, by Daniel Silk on Dec 13, 2010 21:18:49 GMT 1, Surely if people start queue jumping it was only ever going to end up in a bit of pushing and shoving Sadly it seems the queue jumpers at the end of the day got the prints, while others missed out.
I'm still amazed at how many seem proud to say they jumped the queue, as if they had more right to the prints than anyone else Maybe if they had never jumped the queue in the first place many of the problems would have never happened.

Banksy • Choose Your Weapon Print, by dotdot on Dec 13, 2010 21:20:48 GMT 1, I was having a chat with a Royal marine last week who had lost a leg and one eye in Afghan, it makes you realise how lucky you are sometimes, and how ever hard done by you feel there is always someone worse off. A reality check is needed for some people in this country, this scene has just invited a bunch of low lifes in and its only going to get worse. If they don't Police the Queues next time, someone will get slotted for sure.
needle and head... !! abc - I was talking about this with a few folks earlier. pow and altamont are beginning to spring to mind.
if it does happen there would be an implosion.
stay safe people.... and as abc said - keep it in perspective... life is worth more than any print.....and dare i say it... not his finest.

here you go, a wee memento.......I had visited the show and saw the Q start but in fairness am not hard core or crazy enough to go through what you all went through. I got a NBG in last years and its on my wall in a nice custom lime frame with red spashes....
ps I saw some comment on here earlier about the M&S window being smashed....when in the show I had heard them talking about the fact that a Poilce car had crashed into it the night before. LOL
