Has anyone noticed that POW haven't updated their site in 2 days. The blackboard in the window of M&S has stated for the last 2 days that the next 3D print will be released on 9th, today. This is the first time that the site doesn't reflect what the board says....

Banksy • Choose Your Weapon Print, by lebanksi on Dec 9, 2010 9:32:04 GMT 1, Cant believe any forum member is actually going to fly, train it, jog , walk down to London before there has been any sort of announcement about the method of release. There's madness, and then there's insanity... There is absolutely no way that POW are going to announce a last minute "its on sale from the shop this afternoon" email.. they are are way past that, and there was plenty of advance notice with NBG. So let me get this straight. What you're saying is that I shouldn't spend $1200 on a plan ticket form LAX to London, and £700 on hotel for a week, in order to queue in the freezing cold for 12 hours outside M&S in hopes of snagging a £450 Banksy at source, when there is a distinct possibility it will only be offered online? You obviously are just trying to dissuade everyone so you can get a better place in line! Clearly, I'd be crazy not to spend the approximately £1900 the whole ordeal would cost to get this print at the source when it will probably wind up on Ebay for £1800. Anyone getting close to nailing the printing for this one so perfect forgeries will be available to dupe eager shoppers 3 days after it comes out? You've had plenty of time to really get the colors down.
Even if it ends up going for £2500, wouldn't it be worth paying the extra £600 just to avoid all that hassle?!

Banksy • Choose Your Weapon Print, by mouk on Dec 9, 2010 9:51:13 GMT 1, This thread shows exactly what this place is all about and exactly why many have left.
Quote from Mr J Boy.
The richest one percent of this country owns half our country's wealth, lots and lots and lots of squids. One third of that comes from hard work, two thirds comes from inheritance, interest on interest accumulating to widows and idiot sons and what I do, stock and real estate speculation. It's bullshit. You got ninety percent of the American public out there with little or no net worth. I create nothing I own. We make the rules, pal. The news, war, peace, famine, upheaval, the price per paper clip and the print releases. We pick the Banksy prints out of P.O.W's online sales shop while everybody sits out there wondering how the hell we did it. Now you're not naive enough to think we're living in a democracy, are you buddy? It's the free market. And you're a part of it. You've got that killer instinct. Stick around pal, I've still got a lot to teach you.
