Adam Neate in Singapore, by mikeT on Dec 18, 2010 15:23:12 GMT 1, SHEEEET! To my knowledge, possibly the first time we get urban art exhibited here. Been wondering if I have to get to the UK to ever see anything. And during my birthday too. Nice. Thanks for the update.

Adam Neate in Singapore, by oneeye on Dec 18, 2010 17:30:57 GMT 1, Nice to see Adam get out of the UK for a change. Maybe some day he'll come stateside. Think he'd do really well over here.

Adam Neate in Singapore, by mikeT on Dec 18, 2010 18:00:14 GMT 1, Yeah, big things been happening for contemporary art here this year, but only for the more 'global' artists like Hirst, Murakami, Zhang Xiaogang....
Hopefully, Adam paves the way for the likes of Micallef, Eine, Missbugs and of course, Banksy in Asia. These guys deserve world recognition (including this eastern end of it) sooner rather than later.

Adam Neate in Singapore, by mikeT on Dec 18, 2010 18:04:17 GMT 1, Ironically, the rooftop of the venue caught a small fire this evening, but no biggie. Mr Neate, we'll still wait on you to come bearing the torch and light up the scene here. Great move, Elms.

Why not MB Tufty?

Adam Neate in Singapore, by joeschmo on Dec 27, 2010 9:31:41 GMT 1, Would love to see Banksy try to show in China.... just for the sheer PR melt down it would cause.
Adam Neate to do either an LA/NY solo show of serious proportion would be a mind blower as well.

Adam Neate in Singapore, by colinfishwick on Jan 13, 2011 8:19:27 GMT 1, Neate's a gerius, but will never be fully recognised until he starts showing somewhere other than London. It's no good being a genius unless people beyond a 5 mile radius get to see the work. I hope the Singapore sojourn sparks something off for him. He is head and shoulders above a lot of the dross that is debated on this forum.
i think Brazil might be further than 5 miles away from London, not too sure though.

Sale Ends works so much better on this scale, never been a fan of the print but the canvass is immense!!
those Neates, particularly the first one, are amazing - did you catch what price they were up for?
