Anyone had FAILE Prints or Blocks arrived?, by Agent Provocateur on Dec 14, 2010 17:44:08 GMT 1, I just got an email from Faile saying they were waiting for a few packaging supplies for the cubes but they'd start printing labels today and hopefully they'd all be sent by Thursday.
Fingers crossed they arrive before the baby Jesus's Birthday

Anyone had FAILE Prints or Blocks arrived?, by R0B on Dec 16, 2010 23:42:36 GMT 1, Had a Nick Walker print from BRP before with a crease. They always hold a couple back in case this happens. They then numbered the new print and binned the creased one. Would hope Faile follow a similar pattern.

Edit: It was not a damaged print in transit it was a defective print.

Anyone had FAILE Prints or Blocks arrived?, by Sacked... on Dec 17, 2010 0:11:22 GMT 1, I brought a Faile in 2008 ,arrived with crease to top (somebody had pushed the plastic end in too hard ) i sent it back.They sent another one and the same thing happened again and so i sent it back.Third one arrived in good condition.I asked for my postage costs ,for sending them back.There were emails back and forth,finall,y they said they would pay half ,by this time i had enough,so i agreed and sent them all the documents but after 2 weeks i emailed again,but no reply so far.

if you are charged customs fees and have to get a replacement then you may well be charged again
but you can reclaim the second charge by contacting uk customs with BOTH sets of charge information and your payment invoice
Similarly if you have to return the item for a refund you can reclaim any fees

What is the custom charge on a print? I got charged £48 on the Saber Flag print which was around £200. I have not got the breakdown yet but no doubt there is also a handling fee in there. The freight forwarder was Parcelforce.

After seeing all the photos in this thread I'm glad I didn't pull the trigger with anything from this release. Great stuff just not my bag..
I look forward to seeing some of these prints framed - Faile look great in custom frames IMO!

I can say that mine is really damaged. A big tear in the upper right corner and 2 major creases.. I'm sure they will sort out a new one but quite dissapointed.. Here is the damaged beast..
