Two new Dran prints from Edition Populaire, by goingdownthedran on Jan 20, 2011 0:43:27 GMT 1, Edition Populaire have just added two more Dran prints to buy - at 20 Euros again. Sadly only black and white, but one is quite classic - the self portrait of Dran as a kid.

The second I'm less sure about! Some kind of Alice in Wonderland reworking.

Both are editions of 500, unsigned and unnumbered presumably. Copyright date on them both is 2008 - are Edition Populaire cashing in I wonder?
Also still 166 copies of "Amor Es Eterno" left - most of us seem to find it too scary! I certainly can't imagine it on my wall, although I do kind of like it in a morbid sort of way . . .

Amor es eterno is too dark and too big, would cost a lot of money to have framed!
Dran as a kid is called 1984 and it's a stunner!

Comparatively, I'd say that it's close to the paper used by Murukami for his offset litho (if it's of any help)

But again for the price not sure how any collector can pass on the 1984 print at that price, glad to get one!
Also happy to support Dran he seems like a very stand-up fellow to me!
