I would check to see if they do have an option to pay more for extra cover though

Posting Prints to the USA, by saint on Jan 27, 2011 14:15:11 GMT 1, Check the small print to make sure art is covered DC, i sent something to OZ using parcels to go (who just used DHL) and they damaged it, then pointed out that their small print says art is not covered so its my fault not theirs..... I never got my money back.
FedEx should be ok, and tube it in a BOMBPROOF tube dude!

Posting Prints to the USA, by gingerella on Jan 27, 2011 15:54:19 GMT 1, I've been trying to send things to America and Germany. Everyone is expensive... or won't carry art, especially secondary market. I spoke to FedEx this morning and they will cover the cost up to 1000 USD including artwork (I double checked). But that wasn't much help for me, alot of the specialised art shippers have not been very helpful and are very expensive. My last resort is UPS... they will cover the cost as truetiger mention at a percentage.. but i'm just double checking on sending the artwork, I want it in writing that it's covered.
