My top five from those halcyon days are:
1. The Flashing Blade (If you fight for what you want and all that you believe)
2. White Horses
3. Belle and Sebastian
4. The Singing Ringing Tree (Very Scary)
5. The Desert Crusader
6. Robinson Crusoe
7. Champion, The Wonder Horse
8. Casey Jones (a-steaming-and-a-rolling)
9. The Banana Splits (Uh Oh Chungo!)
10. Dr Who (Jon Pertwee)
I know this is not technically 5 but I had so much difficulty whittling it down.

I was thinking of that one but couldn't remember what it was called. I used to watch it in my room late at night with the volume down in case the parents heard all the swearing and sex in it. 
Wasn't keen on the ten years later one, didn't have the same edgy feel to it imo.
I regret missing out on the soprano's when it was on,I think I'd have liked that.

Coming in behind that are Six Feet Under and The Shield.
I never got into the Sopranos and stopped watching alltogether in the 2nd season. The Wire still stands on my shelf, so far, I managed to see 4-5 episodes, but that was that (is this getting better in the end?).
24 Season 1 was a mind blower and sleep deprivator, but in the end, come on! What a load of horse shit (storywise)!
On the funny side, The Simpsons, Roseanne, The Bill Cosby Show and the A-Team were high on my list back when.
Oh and, of course, every boy in Germany loved McGuyver!
Ah, sweet times...
(All of the above is IMHO, of course! So don't hassle, ok?)
