Gee I've lost 4 respect points for saying I don't rate him, how sad is that?

Hi everyone,


I just wanted to thank all of you that managed to make it down for what was
a great night at Cargo. I nearly managed to run outta time but managed to
get over the finish line with a few minutes to spare.

There was some confusion about print availability and the reserve list on
the night so anybody who wants to reserve a print (run of 100, signed) can
either get back to me, or even better get in touch with Mole at
mole@planetpatrol.co.uk who is overseeing the prints. They are £100 each and
are expected to sell out quite quickly so let the man know if you fancy it .

I am now off to France to kick back for a week and return to London next
weekend should any of you wonder why I am not returning e-mails, which I am
bound to be checking whilst abroad. . .

The print will be of the blair image,but this time its painted solid as opposed to the pixelated effect used on the previous work,also has red ,white & blue drips rather than just red.

The canvas from the Charity appeal looked ok until it was splodged (technical term) with the red paint. I'd have quite liked it otherwise... now well, let's just say overkill

Attack of the 50 foot Tw*t by Eelus was top drawer. The detail was magic and he made it really clear that the Star Wars era (curse) was well and truly over.

Eelus told me that it had taken him 18 mths to complete all the star wars canvases ......Dont think he ever wants to do another,who can blame him.Said he has a new studio and is looking forward to producing new work,if it is anything like what he produced at cargo then it will have been worth the wait.Lovely bloke who deserves to do well.

I'm a bit concerned about Adam Koukoudakis' next print is of Tony Blair. Is this the same Tony Blair who is stepping down from Prime Minister NEXT WEEK. I would have thought this may affect the impact of the print. Yes/No?

Worth remembering the original canvas and print were commissioned by Planet Patrol. Adam ended up painting (by hand) an enormous iconic version of the piece within days of Tony Blair announcing he would be saying his goodbyes next week. So, the huge painting at Cargo seemed like perfect timing, albeit by luck! Funnily enough, the queue for the prints grew the more people actually saw him at work.....the stuff you see in JPEGS and emails doesn't do justice, as Pezlow mentioned earlier. Planet Patrol was a brilliant night by the way, for those of you that missed it.....recommend it for sure. Great venue, music, people and art.

After all... he has been PM for 10 years now and quite a bit has happened in those 10 years! Some good some bad IMHO

Adam rules! Solo show later this year. Its in the planning stages now. Adz is looking for a venue. Once he has it and the show drops I expect his work to go through the roof. His new stuff is fanatastic and being such a sound chap is more than happy to show you his work directly. 2007 is his year for sure!

where can you buy his work at the momet?

i quite like some of his stuff but then theres some i dont like as much.
i'll keep an eye on his stuff though!

I agree this year is going to be a big year for Adam. He has no shortage of great images to come and his unique style of street art meets fine art should stand him in good stead when it comes to longevity. His current work is also attracting increasing interest from the US.

Without doubt this guy has only just begun to produce the work that he is capable of. His stuff reminds me of the first time that I saw early Banksy. However, his work is very much of his own and really fresh. I have a new print waiting to be framed from Adz and will be picking up a canvas or two from his London studio this week. If you actually get to see his work in the flesh the mind will boggle. Look out peeps, this ones gonna be big - Steve Laz bought a piece off him and he cant spot talent for s**t. *First solo show later this year* - Can't Wait!!!! Oi Oi
