Have heard nothing but good things about Frankie from the 'CampBarbara' and all my dealing to date have been good too.

If the gallery decide to sell / distribute the remaining prints and dont inform Frankie, does that make him at fault?

I really really wanted this print ... i am in germany so i have no way to come to London without a few days planning ahead .. Mailed Campbarbara several times without even a response at all . Mabye they want to sell some prints in the future again At least a small mail with a sorry note would have done .. Sorry my money goes somewhere else ...
I do work in sales, too and this is just bad style ..

Being based in Ireland I have not been able to make Found at all. I have emailed Frankie on numerous occasions to beg, steal or borrow AFD, SBFO and Evo. Every time he answered my email with a polite response, no.

Yesterday he managed to get me a piece from a gallery with great discount. He went out of his way to get me images and drive the piece back to the gallery to allow me to do the transaction. I would never have got the same deal with the gallery and I doubt he made a penny out of the deal. Even if he got a small commission it would not have covered his efforts. Even if he got a large commission it was worth every penny. With this type of attitude Campbarbara will be a roaring success!!!

I run my own engineering business and if I could get my staff to offer this type of customer service every time they dealt with my customers I would be retired at 40 ;D ;D ;D

Just to say +1 from me to Frankie and the team at CB & LSG. Frankie is a man of his word and a pleasure to deal with.
I know how frustrating and disappointing it is to miss out on a print you would love to have (e.g every Banksy, SBFO 40 by a minute, City Girl 150 by half an hour) but I really cannot understand any criticism of a guy who has organised what is widely reported to be the best show many have ever been to, brought together some of the most talented artists around at present, sold limited edition prints at prices clearly well below the current market value and been a decent person whilst doing it. Not to mention all that free alcohol that I am still recovering from at the opening night.

You can't understand criticism ?.. Ok, well consider this, CB and TLSG's prices for originals are way over the top for pretty much every artist in the show, perhaps 3 and to 5 times the rate for work you could have got the day before if you had the nouse to look further than your nose and these boards. If you want examples I can give them.

Their prices for prints are kinda normal by inflated UK standards but by no means cheap. They cost less than a fiver each to make and are generally used as a vehicle to inflate the prices of originals.

CB and TLSG are businesses with one goal, to make money from fans of Urban Art. Yes, they're nice to their customers (I'd say clever), would be pretty odd business practice if not. Both have a decade and more of experience in sales, they are trained to sell "stuff" to you.

Those new to this scene might very well think "found" was a decent show. Cool. But trust me, it by no means sets any standards for this "scene". Sticking "off cuts" and bits of cardboard that'd otherwise be left on the studio floor in fancy exploding frames and flogging them for 2k + is perhaps not the best way for newer members of these boards to be introduced to urban art and the culture surrounding it. In fact, it's probably the worst.

Let's accept it for what it is hey, but please stop gloryfying the commercialisation of this scene.

People want to buy the art though, don't they nu? it's all very well enjoying it in the street but art has always been sold and always will, if it weren't for dealers selling it it would be pulled off the street (which we're all against).

Sure the gallery and CB make money from it, it is business as you say, if anyone is able to deal with an artist direct there will usually be savings to make but that's not always possible.

Also CB has done a lot for the like's of Cyclops, who really wasn't getting anywhere selling his own stuff, along comes CB with the promotion and therefore the sales, people don't buy what they don't want, but sometimes people are unaware what they do want because they didn't know it existed.

All the prints sold for £125 which although not very cheap, are no where near expensive either, even POW regularly charge over £200 now, and bearing in mind the £400 - £700 prices some of these CB prints are reaching on ebay, exploitation could have been much worse.

i was just answering carlitos question on not heard of any of the artists, then again im no art buff , so me not hearing of someone is no way to judge an artists popularity.

I thought the originals were £600ish but im probably wrong
