Evidently, Peter Kennard did not invent collage, but, this is such an important piece.
Not only did it pave the way for the Crude Oils, but, it is the iconic image of a major piece of British social and political history.
In the rarefied art bubble that we, and this forum, operates, it's worth every penny of that, and, when art historians are looking back at this movement, it will, in my opinion, be held in even higher regard.

I managed to get my own selfie 'photo op' with Peter himself and I invited him in to look at a few pieces on the wall. Really nice guy.
He said that they are now in the high 600s for sold Photo Ops out of an edition of 750. It's a steal at ยฃ160.

That is pretty amazing hand delivering his own prints. I hope he refunded your postage fee though 
I wish he did that with my Haywain print, as the bloody postie left it outside my porch for 3 days. Great story and will make the print a bit more special.
