It does look like a print, it has white borders, they should have printed it to the edge,would have been in keeping with the vandalised style of the piece, like it was a painting vandalised, rather than an image of a painting vandalised.
Having seen both prints last night, the mask with the britain and US flags in the eyes wrapped around the world was a much more striking image. But each to their own.
Were they 1983 that these images were made? Just that I think that is what is written by the signature, 1983 - 2007

Hugs - I'll second that. I would recommend that you all buy one of Kennard's books or take a look at his website (http://www.peterkennard.com/) to get a flavour of his work.
Kennard's polically inspired photomontages are truly seminal. I have little doubt that Kennard's work is a huge inspiration to Banksy and I'm not just talking about the Haywain image inspiring the Crude Oils series. Once you start looking you'll see many parrallels.
Admittedly, the Kennard Haywain image has been available previously. Though, BRP's version is absolutely top quality and, as has been mentioned, cheaper than the eyestorm giclees. This is amazing given the amount of work a 20 colour screenprint takes.
OK, so it's unlikely that the Kennard prints will treble in value over night like many other prints released these days seem to, but that's unimportant. It's truly a classic image, which already has 20 years of history under its belt and which is as relevant today as on the day it was conceived. I really can't wait to have up on the wall.
As for framing, I'd agree with the others - it really has to be a fancy swept frame.

But on a positive not! that union mask...."WOW" thats a print, a detailed complex image with political vibes and an in your face style! brilliant! looks like a real good quality print and definatly a talking point! very impressed. thats where my money will go!
