I like how this guy describes it as Banksy "art" (with the quotes). Wow! It's "art"!! Would make such an "investment"! This guy is such an "idiot"!!!! ;D
The use of the word "tribute" on eBay listings should be outlawed. Seriously. It's somehow become synonymous with "rip off".

The seller changed it... there was 'Banksy' in the listing before. Still a counterfeit as you say!

Is this common practice for editions to be changed? This is something that concerned me as both a buyer and seller of prints.
As a buyer I want 100% confirmation that I am not going to buy a print for ยฃ1000 in the knowledge that only 100 were made. For another 400 to later be printed means I have significantly over paid.
As a seller I obviously want my investment to be secure, if I take the risk of holding onto 2, 3 of the same print with the aim to re-sell when they sell out it is important that โsold outโ means โsold outโ
Nothing wrong with large editions so that demand is met but this should be communicated from the outset?
Do others agree?
That said I think Ill get one of these photos/prints but interested in your thoughts on the above.

This is an edition of 750. If they made another 750 after these sold (as these are numbered) then I'd agree with you.
Realistically, the ones realeased at SG were posters and the signed ones were signed posters (or un-numbered prints, whichever way floats your boat).

Thanks for all the info - all the work you can see on those links we sent except the paintings are available as editioned prints similar sizes and editions to the editions below - the best thing to do if you're interested in somthing is pull an image off one of those sites and email us an enquiry with it - the paper stock we normally use for editioned prints is 308gms cotton rag produced by a belgium company called hahnemuehle but we like messing around with newsprint and an extremely thin acid free paper too ( bu t we never offered any of that ffor sale yet) the process could be straight forward as it's giclee printing using a large epson pigment ink printer but we fiddle around with the colour density a lot and make a lot of proofs mixing a load of black into much of the colour palette to get things looking just right before we finalise on a print version of each image we create - a lot of the time we're making vast paintings on canvas we make out of layers of newspapers so most of the print editions images are originating from around 2003 2004 2005 but not all - uh, that's about it - here's details of the two from the Ghetto theat you asked about
Time Difference - giclee print made by the artists in their studio, approx 50cm x 145cm, signed and numbered in an edition of 750 ยฃ350 +pp
Know Your Enemy - giclee print made by the artists in their studio, approx 40cm x 60cm, signed and numbered in an edition of 750 ยฃ100 +pp

Time Difference is the best of all I think. So subtle yet effective. Price is definitely out of my budget but I'm not sure in 5-10years time I'd really want that on my wall.
