Eelus Icarus AP's how many and what is different, by gibbin82 on Feb 11, 2011 23:59:12 GMT 1, I have been looking and admiring the Eelus Icarus prints (would like one when I can afford it) and seen there were AP's available. But What I can't find anywhere is how many AP's were released and what is different from the regular edition of 100. Anybody got one or knows about them who could tell me please.

I'm taking mine to be framed tomorrow ;D
looks like there's a few available on Ebay though

This is where I am a little confused, I also saw a picture posted somewhere on this forum of a AP with an inscription around the side, but bigtit says his is exactly the same as the regular edition.

Thanks, always worth seeing the pictures again and now I see where the inscription comes from, but other than that (which makes your print unique  ) you say there is no other difference? If that is the case what makes these AP's?

I really like mine with the quote at the bottom, but I know it's not to everyone's taste, have read a few people saying they'd have sent it back if it had it on theirs.
The quote reads

O Icarus of the fearless flight
For the greatest tragedy of them all
Is never to feel the burning light."

Anyway I have found a difinitive answer to the difference between the numbered and AP version, see the reply below I received from Eelus:
"There's no difference other than they were the first off the print bed to ensure everything was going through correctly. I sold around 10 AP's in the end."
