Shooting the parking sign, but drawing flowers. it doesn't look like the flowers have been drawn with the bullets, but I suppose that's what it's supposed to be.... so why aiming at the Parking Sign???

Is it not representing a child soldier... the parking sign represents fighting for nothing, not a just cause... perhaps.

This is simply an ad, no different than the other ads you see around town hyping other Oscar nominees. What's next, a full page "takeover" in Variety?
To make matters worse, the crayon image is on the side of the Urban Outfitters in Westwood. I think this quote in Wooster sums it up best. It also made me throw up a bit in my mouth ...
"Early this morning actress Lauren Conrad (The Hills) was the first to spot and tweet out one of the new Banksy street pieces - the Crayon Boy."

I think it was around the ETTGS promo bombing that I came to terms with the fact that Banksy was never going to be the idealised rebel I pictured when I first came across him and it was time to just enjoy the art for what it was. Pretty pictures on walls!
Looking forward to the debate starting up again if nothing else!
