This sign was coming down before dawn legally or illegally no matter what. This sign had more attention in America than the Prince's wedding has in the UK. Everyone with a devious mind was thinking the same thing - the sign is on canvas and can be cut down and than eventually sold as one large piece or 3 individuals pieces. If people are allowed to sell property owned by the Immigration & Naturalization Authority (Sperm Alarm) building in England on EBAY without consequence than people will continue to help themselves to Mr. B's work.
Did you have plans to remove it? Street price? Did you make an offer? Sounds like u did.

I'd pay $10K. I'd have to take out a loan but I'd do it in a second. You needs a COA? it isn't like there will be fakes. It would cost more then $10k to fake.

Its listed at 7k, not sold yet. I think the punk wall was unsold at 20k although I may be mistaken. Im sure bigger work does not guarantee more money either, infact limits your market.
By the time they pay to store the banner flat or hanging (cant see that being stored folded is good for the paint) they may not make much for all the hassle unless a buyer was already lined up.

The Charlie brown is boring and been rinsed out by a goon number of artists already, in my opinion the MauMau 2nd home piece on a boarded up shop beats it hands down.
The other is just a Banksy version of BORF's classic, Banksy just proving that he's a bastard for ripping off other artists designs just like he's always done.
The billboard is the only nice piece there, I'd pay 10k for it happily as long as it was delivered to me in pristine condition.
